Festival season is ramping up, and exciting announcements continue to roll in. Case in point: The heretofore London-based iTunes Festival will be making its US debut at SXSW this March.

The festival will take place March 11-15, and the lineup includes Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, Zedd and the red-headed stranger himself, Willie Nelson.

Does this mean that the iTunes Festival could become an annual event in the States? In the past, the famously free (sponsored by Apple) festival has attracted performers like Lady Gaga, Elton John, The Killers, Deadmau5 and Kanye West, just to name a few.
