Jam Cruise's 15th edition set sail from the Port of Miami in pursuit of toasty temperatures and zesty jams. Luckily for everyone aboard, Mother Nature and Jam Cruise's mind-boggling array of musicians made sure both were in abundance.
Jam Cruise spends two full days at sea and one day each in Mexico and Honduras – and during that time, the music almost never stops. The party starts with a kickoff concert the day before the ship embarks. Once you’re on the water, most acts play two sets, giving festival-goers an opportunity to see as many performers as possible.
This year, that meant seeing The Original Meters, moe., GRiZ, Galactic, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, Lettuce, Kamasi Washington, Beats Antique live, Dopapod, and scores more either multiple times on stage, at the pool stage, grabbing drinks at the bar, or merely traversing the decks of the Norwegian Pearl. Of course, there's a ton of chill time as well. Aside from the aforementioned pool, there's spa a casino, a poker tournament, a door-decoration contest, autograph signings, meet-and-greets, and game shows. There are also yoga classes, educational workshops, and seminars featuring artists and special guests. Cruisers need it all to balance out the immense and mesmerizing presence of world-class music.
