New musical discoveries! We all love seeing our favorite bands, but it's beautiful when you stumble across new music you feel like you should have heard, but never had until that very moment. Such was the case at the inagural Life is Beautiful festival. 

Poolside , playing the Art of Beer stage, was surprisingly good. Funky, soulful and grooving, bringing a sound called "Daytime Disco" that fit the old school Vegas vibe perfectly. Check out this Fall/Winter Mix that starts out with an epic Black Sabbath remix of Planet Caravan.

Bob Moses . We'd never had heard of the guy who supposedly dropped one of the best sets of Robot Heart. He was great and had a memorable closeout danceparty at the El Cortez. Here's that set from Burning Man .
