When the conditions align and the North Pacific swell builds to an enormous size, 24 surfers battle the ocean at its most terrifying at the surf break known as Mavericks.  In the end, Grant Baker of South Africa took top prize. It's one of the wildest competitions in the world, and Fest300 was there to document this historic day.
