The beats are about to drop in the gorgeous Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. For its 18th consecutive year Motion Notion, a jewel of the Canadian festival scene, will bring an intimate group of dance music lovers a visionary lineup that features both an elite class of rising talent from western North America, as well as tried-and-true dance floor wizards.

Datsik, Avalon, Dirtyphonics, Koan Sound, The M Machine and Minnesota make up the large font, alongside a diverse mix of over 100 international legends and underground acts.

This year, Motion Notion will go deep with Deep House favorites like Ben Annand, resident DJ at Tropical and Moontribe in Los Angeles who utilizes an incredibly aggressive and energetic mixing style with dreamy, atmospheric and deep beats. Recent years have cemented Freddy J as one of Canada's must-see DJs; he’s sure to throw down a funky, whompy, groovy, crunky bass set. WMNSTUDIES has quickly risen to international recognition with his brand of Nu-Disco, a tropical storm of deep grooves and high energy performance, leaving every person on the dance floor wanting more.

Winner of PLAY Motion Notion Alex Mei will make her festival debut, having beat out over 58 other worthy competitors in the recent contest held in conjunction with Do604. These names are barely the tip of the iceberg on this year's lineup, which you can see in full above.

Beyond the stellar music, there are many features of the Motion Notion camping experience that set it apart from any other camping festival around. The Rocky Mountain location gives campers the chance to experience a location that is unparalleled in the world for clarity and depth.
