BoomTown Fair is a temporary city in Hampshire, UK that becomes an alternate world for a few days each August. Every year of the festival is a new chapter in an epic storyline and in 2015, the tale culminated in a full-on revolution. The city hosts nine distinct districts complete with hidden stages and dazzling production value, from the towering nine stories of the Bang Hai Stage to the formidable Lions' Den, to the Giant Boombox.

Yet amidst all of the incredible scenery and attention to detail, what really stands out are the attendees themselves. The people of BoomTown are as much of an attraction as the stunning stage design. Each citizen of the walled city not only presents themselves in varying degrees of fancy dress but participates in the storyline in their own way. Whether they be loyalists fulfilling tasks around the city to impress the dictatorial mayor or sneaky mad hatters out to destabilize the regime, or simply merry punters having a chat or sharing a song, the magic of BoomTown are the people.
