The Life is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas debuted in October 2013 and returned strong on the festival scene this past weekend.  Founder Rehan Choudry, CEO of Aurelian Marketing Group, operates under a kind of radically hopeful idea for our cynical times—that life is indeed beautiful.

Focusing on music, food, art and learning, the festival’s programming suggests and reinforces that idea at every turn. Organizers illustrate this ideal through a creating ad hoc greenery via a pop-up park, enormous urban murals, and offering seemingly endless food and music options. Organizers want to encourage attendees to “embrace fears and chase their dreams.”

50 artists, including The Foo Fighters, Kanye West, The Weeknd, Arctic Monkeys, Phantogram, Little Dragon, and much more played across 5 stages. Restaurants and chefs from the world-class Vegas dining scene are bringing their top dishes to the festival. Attendees chose from several different Culinary Crawls, designed around themes like pairing food and beverages. Countless other opportunities were on offer, from hanging out in the Alchemy Gardens with brewers, distillers or winemakers, or watching live demos at "Chefs on Stage."

Life is Beautiful is indeed the perfect festival for reminding you why your life is beautiful, and this video from last year's festival is a perfect example of that.
