It may have been a cold weekend in Houston, Texas, but that didn’t stop the ghouls from coming out to play during Something Wicked. The fifth installment of the Disco Donnie Presents and Nightculture event brought thousands of electronic music fans out for two nights of amazing beats and spooky fun. The Halloween spirit was alive and well; fans came decked out in their best costumes. There was an abundance of Ricks from Rick and Morty, Harley Quinns, clowns from IT, and all manner of creepy, silly and fun characters roaming the festival grounds.
The diverse lineup featured a great mix of different genres. Artists like Above & Beyond, Marshmello, Tiesto, RL Grime, Zed’s Dead, Rezz, San Holo, Aly & Fila, Bleep Bloop, Vini Vici, Space Jesus and more meant that there was something there for everyone to enjoy. Along with the fantastic EDM heavy hitters we expect to see on festival lineups Something Wicked also featured some great regional artists like Houston staple Wes Walz, Austin’s Gamma, Monstar, Saylus, and others to represent the local talent in the area.
With a great lineup, fantastic stages, and talented performers both on stage and walking the grounds in character, Something Wicked created a perfect balance of music festival and Halloween party. Keep scrolling to see a some of the photos that truly capture what this ghoulish weekend was all about.
