In case you couldn't tell from the video above, extraterrestrials are coming for Sonár's 25th anniversary festival this June in Barcelona, and your presence is requested. With this week's fresh broadcast of additional A-list headliners like Thom Yorke, GoldLink, alva noto and Modeselektor, how could you miss this party?

Sonár, highly respected for its signature mix of music, technology and creativity in the digital arts, brings Thom Yorke, GoldLink, Modeselektor, Cornelius, Amp Fiddler & Tony Allen, Yung Lean, Octo Octa, Errorsmith, Lanark Artefax, A-Trak and Alva Noto together with  Diplo, Laurent Garnier, Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem, Olafur Árnalds, Kode 9, Bonobo, Bicep, Lorenzo Senni, Helena Hauff, Wiley, Black Coffee, John Talabot, DJ Harvey, and what's sure to be an epic closeout Sunday night set of bangers from Richie Hawtin .

Among the artists joining the year-old SonarXS stage -- the fest's dedicated home to rich, provocative sonic endeavors -- are American Chino Amobi, Latin America's Rosa PistolaNathy Peluso, experimentation and noise artist Russell Haswell (in a performance with Sue Tompkins), Egypt's Rozzma and Taiwanese artist Putochinomaricón. Expect global noise and hardcore, Arabic beats, trap, lo-fi trap, experimentation and noise, and reggaeton galore.

If music isn't your thing but aliens are, catch up with Sónar Calling GJ 273b, a "pioneering project uniting music and science to connect and communicate with alien life" that set the internet abuzz in November 2017. Uniting music and science to connect and communicate with extraterrestrial life, the festival partnered with METI International and Institute of Space Studies of Catalonia (IEEC) to launch "Sónar Calling GJ273b,” the first radio message ever to be sent to a nearby potentially habitable exoplanet.

Sónar Festival takes place June 14-16, 2018.
