SONIC BLOOM has held strong for years in a region where not many conscious gatherings can say the same. The festival's initial 2018 roster of artists was first unveiled back in February, and since then has only added to the buzz with more standout names. Dynohunter, Brasstracks, Edamame, Lucid Vision, Cofresi, Atyya, SoDown, Late Night Radio and more join previously announced names like Shpongle (who will do a DJ set with live visuals from Android Jones ), Keys N Krates, Nightmares on Wax, Desert Dwellers, Break Science, Liquid Stranger, Eoto, Dirtwire, Thriftworks, Buku, Yheti, and other dance music, jam band, and funk stars. More than just music, this is an event with all sorts of activities to keep people entertained and stimulated. Be sure to check out the festival's array of performance art to take in—everything from dance troupes, to fire dancers, to aerial acrobatics, to flow arts masters – as well as plenty of awe-inspiring live painting and juggling. Take time for some classes in topics and skills such as slack-lining, yoga, healing arts, and even blockchain technology. There are craft vendors (most peddle earthy, eco-friendly wares), food vendors, and art installations. In 2017, the festival created the Sonic Bloom Academy, which curated by a team of world-class instructors in the unique array of thought leadership courses such as Music, Movement, Visual Art, and Permaculture.
