London is not having the greatest summer this year, it must be said. Most days are a mix of overcast skies, with only flashes of glorious sunshine marred by tropical downpours. It's July and we're yet to have more than a couple of days of sun, which is ever so slightly depressing. But hey, at least we have a multitude of festivals on our doorstep, in the city itself, across the UK and in Europe.

A brand new addition to London's festival landscape is Sunfall , a one-day event that took place last weekend. With a mega lineup, featuring acts as diverse as Kamasi Washington, Ben Klock, Goldie, Jamie xx, and the Yussef Kamaal Trio, it was quite an exciting prospect... when the weather behaved itself. Fortunately, it did (for most of it) and showed that, on a sun-kissed summer's day, London is one of the best cities in the world.

Add Sunfall one to your list of the best urban festivals in the world, and you've got just one more excuse to explore the capitol of England.

Here are some wonderful photos to prove it.
