This weekend brought us Osheaga out of Montreal, Lollapalooza in Chicago (except for the brief festival evacuation hiccup due to lightning and thunderstorms), and a surprise Weezer appearance at Gathering of the Vibes ! ICYMI (in case you missed it), here are video recaps all you festies need to see.

Paul McCartney Does "Hey Jude" at Lollapalooza

The man's had over 40 years experience with massive, adoring crowds but Paul McCartney somehow manages to get better with age. He's headlined the world's biggest music festivals, including Outside Lands in 2013, Firefly back in June, and a two-and-a-half hour set at Bonnaroo in 2013. A live show from the former Beatle is an experience not to be missed, and thanks to a fan at this weekend's Lollapalooza, you can watch "Hey Jude" in all its glory. Seeing 100,000 of your festival friends sing every word of a classic is pretty rad.

Mos Def Joins Kendrick Lamar on stage at Osheaga

Kendrick Lamar has stated that Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) is the reason he started rapping, and Osheaga fans got to see that reason play with the result this past weekend as they joined forces on stage for two of Lamar's most popular tracks, "King Kunta" and "Alright," off his new album To Pimp a Butterfly. Lamar led a moment of silence to remind the crowd how awesome they are before exploding into "King Kunta."

Weezer Plays Gathering of the Vibes

Weezer is touring this summer in support of new album Everything Will Be Alright in the End, and stopped off this weekend in Connecticut at Gathering of the Vibes. The band played legendary favorites "Buddy Holly," "My Name is Jonas," and of course, "The Sweater Song." Lead singer Rivers Cuomo even brought his daughter out for a song at the vibe-tastic fest.

Stay tuned for our next roundup, featuring news from Outside Lands, Shambhala and Wildnerness!
