In a clever play on the wildly popular, long-running BBC (and most recently, Netflix) nature documentary series Planet Earth , Canadian bass oasis  Shambhala Music Festival has just released "Planet Shambhala." The short documentary series spans five episodes, the first episode highlighting the gorgeous British Columbian ecosystem thriving within festival's locale. Each episode offers a tender look at the way the all-natural ecosystem elevates the festival's uniquely inclusive culture.

An eight-minute audiovisual journey sure to satisfy Shambhala superfans and intrigue good-natured viewers of nature and/or "Planet Earth," Episode One of "Planet Shambhala" offers viewers the chance to immerse themselves from one earthly ecosystem to another with a creative read on Shambhala's role in the festival world.

The scene begins with honeybees, tiny insects  stealing the show as "stalwart signs of any healthy living ecosystem, from forests to grasslands to the verdant green mountains of British Columbia..."  From there, verdant green landscapes, stunning aerial shots, and hazy, sun-kissed scenes from Shambhala's Salmo River Ranch overwhelm your senses.

Take a look and let your mind be blown, then check out the four subsequent episodes below.

Planet Shambhala: Episode 2, The Village

Planet Shambhala: Episode 3, The Living Room Stage

Planet Shambhala: Episode 4, The Grove

Planet Shambhala Episode 5, Pagoda

Shambhala Music Festival is August 10-13, 2018 at the Salmo River Ranch in Salmo, British Columbia, Canada. Tickets are available here.
