Leave the white clothes at home for the Boryeong Mud Festival , where the sleepy seaside town of Boryeong, South Korea, will transform into one slippery mud party this weekend. (This is no ordinary mud; it's said to have healing properties.) Festival-goers can compete in the "Mr. Mud" contest, mud wrestling, and even a mud boot camp. Those looking for a more laid-back experience can opt for mud facials, body painting, pottery demos, soap-making and lounging on Daecheon Beach.

If you happen upon Boryeong Mud Festival but mud ain't your thing, catch the rave on the evening of the closing ceremonies, or Friday’s Korean b-boy show. Pop and hip-hop shows are scattered throughout the week as well.
