What If You Could Tattoo a Festival Lineup on Your Arm?
When it comes to festivals, the dream is to be able to see every single band or artist we love or have heard is awesome. Of course, there are numerous obstacles preventing us from doing so: scheduling conflicts, navigating miles of festival grounds, prevserving your phone's precious battery life, and the fact that you probably lost your festival map/schedule hours ago.
Despite all this, our only option is to try our darnedest to see all that we can see. Enter Gigtat. This company will mail you temporary tattoos of the festival lineup of your choosing (they're adding more all the time). Slap them anywhere on your body – although your forearm seems like the most logical – and figuring out where to be and when just got a whole lot easier.
In 2017, Gigtat will have the artists and set times made into tattoos for up to 50 of the biggest music festivals in the U.S., and 10% of each sale goes to help the Save The Music charitable organization, and other youth music nonprofits.
In a recent interview with the Miami New Times , Gigtat's founder Philippe Bosshart – who was inspired to invent these festival-centric temporary tattoos after seeing so many people glued to their phones at music festivals – says they're built to withstand any amount of festival partying your weekend brings.
"They handle mud, water, beer, sweat, and whatever else you might throw at them, other than the alcohol wipes we provide that take them off in seconds," Bosshart told the Miami New Times.
Would you use Gigtat to stay on top of your festival schedule?
