The Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon is home to What The Festival, a delightfully carnivalesque summer camp for grown ups. Odesza, Big Gigantic, Justin Martin, Griz, Keys N' Krates, Lane 8 and Rob Garza are the first round headliners announced for this festival in the forest known for great beats, a splash pool and camping.

Imagine hanging out around a wading pool the size of a skating rink while camping in the woods. Imagine larger-than-life interactive art installations, hookah lounges, people doing the limbo and yoga, and hooping, sculptures created out of found objects, and people dancing and grooving nonstop in various states of bathing attire. Electronic music of all kinds dominates this festival: dubstep, trap, bass, house, techno, downtempo—you name it. These performances are often set against dazzling light shows.
