Wilderness Festival wrapped its fifth edition this past weekend, regaling its enthusiastic audience with impeccable blue skies and warm sun, eclectic music, delicious food, hot tubbing, theatre shows, and plenty of cultural learning. For four lavish days in the English countryside, the Wild Ones became ancient mariners and merfolk, resplendent in sequins, feathers, glittering with every step, vintage aviators and goggled steampunk panthers and sovereigns in their finest regalia.

The highlight of the festival was a breathtaking performance created by internationally renowned Spanish theatre collective La Fura dels Baus. After the legendary George Clinton's show-stopping performance on Saturday night, the crowd was treated to an even more dazzling spectacle as a giant glowing puppet appeared, striding through a spellbound main stage crowd, a singer nestled in its chest and conducting the Human Net – 52 acrobats, suspended in the night sky from a 40 meter crane. It was mesmerizing, like Cirque du Soleil on steroids. Nothing like it had ever been seen at an English festival before.

And you can't beat the three headliners of Wilderness 2015, Bjork, George Clinton, Parliament & Funkadelic and Ben Howard were the fest's music cherry on top. Friday headliner Bjork sparked an electrical excitement in the crowd as the Wild Ones awaited the lady of the hour. Her set opened with fireworks accompanying her song "Notget," and also saw her perform "Hunter," "Army of Me," "Hyperballad" and close with "One Day."
