2016 has been an exhausting year. We can all agree on that, right? America's presidential election has dominated our digital airwaves for the last twelve months, and it's time for an entertainment break. Enter: Vote for Dancing . 

A brand-new event out of Portland, Oregon, the festival's mission asks us to leave 2016's despair behind, and "turn now toward creative resistance, inspired civic engagement, and a reimagination of democracy. A radical broadening of what it means to vote. To participate. To dance." 

For three days over New Year's Eve Weekend (December 30, 2016 - January 1, 2017), party with a lineup that includes Beats Antique, Thriftworks, El Papachango and more. Vote for Dancing "endorses no candidate, no initiative but initiative itself, and no proposition but the proposition that a better world is possible. Our party is the Dance Party and our nominee is you."
