The Ohio Festival Scene

Depending on who you ask, the Midwest features a whole lot of nothing except corn fields and college football. Ohio scoffs at their ignorance with half a dozen major cities, a bustling festival scene and Lebron James. The Buckeye State is jam-packed with fun of all types no matter which region you end up in. Festivals in Cleveland, believe it or not, go well beyond sports fanaticism. And Cincinnati does more than whip up a mean pot of chili. Ohio boasts a healthy mix of family-friendly carnivals, multicultural festivals and dozens of county fairs, among many others, each one offering a distinct Ohio experience. While the Atlantic Ocean isn’t a stone’s throw away, Lake Erie is a solid alternative for anyone looking for a festival experience right by the water. Even though Ohio is singly landlocked, you won’t want to leave once you cross its borders.
