About Denver, CO

It seems like everyone wants to move to Denver, Colorado. Well, can you blame them? The Mile High City is one of the hottest major cities in America, and it has everything going for it: a grade A craft beer scene, a breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains, four major sports teams, and dozens of outdoor activities throughout its four distinct seasons. If all that awesomeness doesn’t get you into the festival spirit, leave it to Bluecifer (a.k.a. The giant blue mustang statue at Denver International Airport) to get you bucking. Denver is home to the largest beer festival in the U.S., the Great American Beer Festival, where you can sample more than 3,000 delicious brews from local and national breweries. For a visually dazzling experience, look no further than the Cherry Creek Arts Festival where hundreds of award-winning artists share their work. Still not enticed? Just wander outside in your coziest winter coat and see what’s going on; there’s bound to be some festival happening in the city somewhere.

Top Denver Festivals

Great American Beer Festival
Denver is one of the greatest beer cities in the country, so it's no surprise that a sudsy celebration such as the Great American Beer Festival takes place here. Thousands beer-lovers come to the Mile High City to sample over 3,000 craft brews (not all at once, of course) from over 700 local and national breweries.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival
Coloradans have a thing for twangy bluegrass music. Set against a stunning mountain backdrop, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival features world-class finger-pickers, overnight camping, jamming sessions and the great outdoors.

Juneteenth Music Festival
Juneteenth commemorates the abolition of slavery in the state of Texas, and Denver takes it one step further with the massive Juneteenth Music Festival, one of the largest in the nation. Over 25,000 people revel in live music entertainment, delicious food and original arts and crafts to celebrate African American freedom.

Denver Pridefest
This family-friendly pride festival celebrates the LGBT community across the whole state of Colorado. As one of the most vibrant pride fests around, there's colorful parades, lively music performances, a 5k run and tons of amazing food.

Denver International Wine Festival
Food & Wine Magazine calls it one of the best wine festivals across America, so you know you need to get taste of what's going on here. Over the course of four days, there are 400 wines, beers and spirits to sample, a food-and-wine pairing competition, local winery tours and many other delicious events on the menu.

LOHI Music Festival
It may only be a day long, but LOHI is jam-packed with live entertainment across a wide range of genres. LOHI features a wicked mix of local and national music artists across two stages, street art, local brew, arts and crafts and much more. All of this goes down in the Lower Highlands neighborhood, one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in Denver.

Denver Greek Festival
“Opa!” is probably what you'll scream every five seconds at this highly entertaining festival. The Denver Greek Festival is filled to the brim with authentic Greek cuisine, non-stop dancing and traditional Greek music. You'll see exactly why Greek culture is one of the most vibrant around.

Cherry Creek Arts Festival
