The Middle Eastern Festival Scene

The Middle East is a concoction of many cultures. It is comprised of multiple countries, each one being unique. Within those countries are different languages, religions, traditions, foods and histories. These diverse cultures and traditions have stretched far beyond the Middle East. The proof is in the Middle Eastern festivals taking place in cities across the United States, from Seattle to Boston. Many of these festivals feature a smorgasbord of traditional foods—whether it’s Egyptian, Lebanese or Turkish. Many Middle Eastern festivals are mix of music, food, dance, art and so much more.
