So Many Activities!
Head to the festival’s homepage, click on the Events tab and you’ll find a comprehensive list of things to do throughout the weekend. You may start sweating profusely, but you can accomplish everything you plan to do with decent time management skills.
Explore Historic Downtown Clarksville
All festival activities take place between Main Street and Madison Street. There are a wealth of dining and shopping opportunities including Blackhorse Pub & Brewery, Downtown Artists Cooperative, Bink’s Outfitters and many other neighborhood hotspots.
Keep Your Arms and Legs
As mentioned before, this experience will almost cost you nothing. The only time you’ll fork over any cash is when your growling stomach demands food or a cold refreshment.
Getting There
Nashville International Airport is the closest airport to Clarksville. Given Nashville’s central location, getting to Clarksville is easy from the airport. There are several car rental services and a convenient shuttle service that goes to and from the airport. For roadsters, both I-24 and TN-12 take you straight to Clarksville.
Lodging
The festival offers numerous hotel packages that have a homely atmosphere. You can view these hotel packages here. If a package is out of the question, there’s an abundance of affordable hotels scattered around Clarksville.
Curtain Call
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Rivers and Spires is retiring its jersey in 2017 after 15 years of family fun. However, its roaring success indicates the possibility of new and exciting events taking its place in the near future.
