The festival is in the heart of soweto , Johannesburg ,South Africa. The festival was heavily influenced by the kwaito generation of the 1990s who created their own culture in south africa. This heavily focused on identity and Freedom of expression. it is these two fundamental building blocks that help inspire our festival under the sun. The festival occurs once a year in the south african summer and has a certain every year.
