World Eskimo Indian Olympics WEIO is the largest cultural celebration in Alaska. Games require balance, agility, endurance and essential skills for the survival in remote northern areas of the world and will test a participants ability to the utmost highest level. Activities include traditional games; kneel jump, blanket toss, ear pull, knuckle hop, toe kick, Native Regalia Contest and so much more! WEIO is a time to share stories through dance, display parkas, kuspuks, mukluks, moose hide dresses, vests and jewelry. There is a cultural Miss WEIO pageant to showcase talents and traditional knowledge. WEIO gives people and participants a rare chance to experience a culture alongside those who live within it. Free admission for daytime events. After 4:45pm, $15 adults $10 for students, elders and military. Wednesday only - $2 discount
