The Idaho Festival Scene

Attractions such as the Boise River Greenbelt and the Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve prove Idaho has much more to offer than potatoes. Not to knock those Idaho potatoes or anything. Eat them, for sure—those spuds are studs, but they’re just one of many great things inside the borders of the Gem State (a visit to the Idaho Potato Museum in Blackfoot should probably be on your list of things to do in Idaho). Catch a Boise State Broncos football game in Boise or plunk a fishing line in the waters at Hells Canyon National Recreation Area in Riggins. And where will you spend the rest of that Idaho-excitement-induced energy? Idaho festivals are the perfect place to spend it. Festivals in Idaho celebrate country music, fiddlers, wool, art, food and … well, just start exploring the state to learn what else.
