Come one, come all to ye old renaissance faire! These festivals take us back to the days of quarreling kingdoms and fearless knights. They are an opportunity to get lost in a land from long ago, steeped in magic, mysticism, history and wonder. Renaissance revelers put together some legit costumes and the most serious celebrators will go days on end without breaking character. We've also got pirate festivals and medieval faires if those are more your fancy. Don’t tie that corset too tight – gotta make sure you have room for ye olde giant turkey leg!
