If we told you of a place in the UK with three regions, containing eight immersive districts offering diverse entertainment and a wealth of chances to try new things, you'd think we were talking about a large metropolitan area, right? Next weekend, that interconnected land is the BoomTown Fair, a festival with an unrivaled city experience. BoomTown is a whimsical world of interconnected city districts, an alternative "urban" reality for attendees of this festival in Hampshire, UK. Offering thoughtfully planned experiences and the opportunity to be a character in a living, breathing story, the fest feels like Lightning In a Bottle meets Ren faire meets British festival gallantry. 

Festival attendees (or in this case, participants) have the chance to enjoy wholly different stage lineups in their quest for tomfoolery. We're not just talking different flavors of rock or house music here. The Chinatown stage is completely dedicated to ska, punk, and ska-punk, Dsktrkt5 serves up drum + bass, jungle, and heavy bass, and Whistlers Green is the heady alternative for when festival madness overwhelms your senses and you need a little break in the Luxury Spa , the Healing Place or the Chill Out Domes .

Once you're done exploring the eclecticism of the seven other city district stages (Barrio Loco, Mayfair Avenue, OldTown, Kidztown!, Trenchtown, Wild West and the Sunrise Area) be sure to look closely at each of the 22 main stages to catch Steven Marley, Gogol Bordello, Soja, John Butler Trio, or Flogging Molly. There is no one "main stage" here to catch the biggest names.

According to organizers, BoomTown, created in 2009, has worked hard to ensure that "Every kind of musical genre is celebrated... from ska, folk, gypsy, reggae, world, punk, pirate and disco to electro-swing, jazz, blue-grass, bass, jungle and techno, all enjoyed in a spirit of unity and freedom."

As we just saw with this past weekend's extraordinarily dazzling performances from Wilderness Festival, Boomtown Fair is another major player on the devilishly curated festival scene in the UK. BoomTown organizers even extended the chance for The Sunrise Festival  to have its very own stage at BoomTown after it had to cancel earlier this year for logistical reasons .
