The Bay Area has a colorful history of funky and unruly parties – actually, "worshipped" would be a more fitting word. Take that ethos, add a ton of bass and BBQ, and you've got one unstoppable shindig on your hands. That's exactly what Bay Area party purveyors Dirtybird are doing this summer, as they unveil details of their 2nd annual BBQ tour , with dates in  Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Brooklyn, Denver and one TBA location.

Crew leader Claude VonStroke and players Justin Martin, Ardalan, Christian Martin, Justin Jay, J. Phlip and the Birdhouse crew have always made good times a priority. Since their free dance parties in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park in the early 2000s, Dirtybird's brand of house music has become part of the city's sonic fabric. By putting fun and fans first, they've become one of the most sought-after tickets around. 

And now, it's only fair that the East and West coasts get to chill with Grill$on too. Notably absent are any Bay Area stops (including SF), but the mysterious Dirtybird Campout in a TBD locale slated for October 2-4, 2015 has our fingers crossed tight for the chance to party with the crew for 3 days instead of one. Could this be for the Bay? Considering the label got its start here, we're keeping our eyes peeled.
