If there are two things I love in life (beside family and friends, yadda yadda), it’s music and food. Honestly, it's a toss-up for which I love more, but luckily Dirtybird Records (the label for artists such as Claude VonStroke and Justin Martin) doesn't expect me to choose. 

The Dirtybird crew is taking its “legendary BBQ party on the road” and into your backyard to enjoy both beats and eats. Starting with Brooklyn on August 17th, then heading to Detroit, Toronto, San Francisco and Los Angeles, each city will have a different lineup featuring special guests. I feel it is my journalistic duty to make sure that the eats are delicious and the beats are tasty. Therefore, I shall attend the Dirtybird BBQ in Detroit. Just. For. You. 

And OK, maybe a little bit for myself too.
