Electric Daisy Carnival is known for going big, and its behemoth kineticCATHEDRAL stage is emblematic of that ethos. It's an all-encompassing, beautiful assault on the senses, thanks to its sheer enormity and impeccable attention to detail. That's why it's a huge deal that the folks at Insomniac , who produce the EDC franchise each year, have announced that they'll fly this iconic stage to EDC's UK edition this year as a treat for both artists and audiences alike.

If you're not already familiar with Insomniac's masterpiece of festival production, let's get you up to speed. As the largest fest stage ever constructed in North America, the kineticCATHEDRAL stage at EDC Vegas in 2014 was 440 feet long, 27 yards longer than a football field, and just shy of 80 feet tall – roughly the size of a 7-floor building. The kineticCATHEDRAL also featured 28 LED displays, 1,000 light fixtures, 30 lasers and required 2.5 million watts of power to function.

The EDC UK's revamped version stands at 90 feet tall and 240 feet wide, featuring the signature 45-foot tall twin owls, with expressive eyes that are hauntingly illuminated by LED lighting. Twenty multi-coloured lasers on the stage, multiple massive LED screens, and multiple fountains shooting water into the air will wow the crowd, creating the illusion of detailed stained glass windows and displaying the latest in visual design.

The twin owls will fly over the kineticCATHEDRAL stage at Electric Daisy Carnival, July 11th at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Major headliners include Claude VonStroke, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Steve Aoki and way more.
