In a festival scene that is often prohibitively expensive and can drain your wallet, one festival in Arizona has turned the tables to offer a $135 pass for 3 days AND have 100% of the proceeds go to charity.
Enter the McDowell Mountain Music Festival, which boasts headliners Widespread Panic, Passion Pit, Thievery Corporation & Phantogram for the March 27-29 fest.
Set in Phoenix each June for the last 12 years, MMMF serves the music community as well as giving a hand to the local community. 100% of the proceeds from the festival will benefit two family-based, non-profits in the Phoenix area: The UMOM New Day Center and the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation.
According to the organizers, MMMF is "designed to promote three elements – community involvement, corporate participation and charity – McDowell Mountain Music Festival exists to support, entertain and educate the community, the arts and families throughout the state."
