Set in one of the most unique festival locations in the world, Melt! brings life to the gigantic monuments of the machine age with its colorful lighting and thumping beats. This is the ultimate "Industrial Meets Electronic" music festival that takes place in the massive industrial museum of Ferropolis, Germany. The event location spreads over 6 floors, and has a lineup of nearly 100 live acts over the weekend.

This year, dance maniacs gathered to get their hearts and minds melted by acts such as M83, Boys Noize, Disclosure, Damian Lazarus, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Gold Panda, Horse Meat Disco, Jamie xx, Maya Jane Coles, Bob Moses, Peaches, and many more. Less dance-centric acts who took the stage this time around included Tame Impala, Two Door Cinema Club, and CHVRCHES.

Melt! truly encapsulates the party festival vibe. Campsites are packed with friendly folks (mostly Germans) looking to let loose. Juxtapose the lively crowds with to the five enormous Caterpillar tractors and cranes dotting the festival grounds, and the old equipment takes on an even more ghostly feel.
