More than almost any other festival we can think of, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is for everyone. It's affordable; it offers practically any musical genre or type of cuisine (although the Cajun eats are where it's at) you can dream of; it celebrates the myriad, colorful cultures that comprise New Orleans, and welcomes families and all generations with open arms. You can park and spread out with a picnic all day, or you can adventure from stage to stage. You can dance or watch some live painting, or shop the festival's sprawling marketplace. There are 10 full days of festivaling during which the vibrant Big Easy comes together to celebrate each other.
