Everyone let their freak flag fly in celebration of America's best free festival. The spirit of San Francisco is still alive at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass!
“I love the story of this festival. I love that’s it’s free for everyone. [Warren Hellman] wanted everyone to be able enjoy the scene. It’s so San Francisco! It’s what this city is about.”
What’s your favorite part of the festival?
“How free everyone is.”
“We actually are visiting from New York and our AirBnB host told us about this free festival in the park so we came down. This is everything we imagined San Francisco would be.
"I hand selected all this pieces. They’re all good for grounding and connecting to the earth.”
“This is a torro flex. It opens up into a torus which is three dimensional infinity. It expands and contracts infinitely within itself. It’s free, sustainable, kinetic energy.”
“I’m here to share the magic!”
“I’m out here reminding people to plant native trees! If you need to learn local natives ask your elders. There’s strength in diversity. Let’s restore the earth to the form it had before we broke it!”
“Enjoy the journey.”
