The well-loved and intimate Bass Coast Festival out of British Columbia just released its first-round lineup. The fest offers an enriching, immersive multimedia experience to a diverse and vibrant community, and the 4 unique stages are high-tech art installations with world-class sound design. 

According to the fest, "the name 'Bass Coast' has the initials of the land and environment we are deeply connected to... The rich culture that surrounds our music is a creative community of artists, scientists, designers, yogis, environmentalists, freedom fighters, business minds, intellectuals, party-goers, poets and dancers."

The festival grounds, located in the majestic Nicola Valley, offer unparalleled natural beauty- a meandering river, shady forests and an expressive wide-open sky. Multimedia installation art, performance art and workshops ("Coast" stands for Community, Organization, Art, Science, Technology) round out the experience. In order to maintain a cozy, intimate atmosphere, organizers take the unique approach of only releasing 3,000 tickets.
