Come celebrate with us the 3rd Annual “Taste of New Orleans Blues & Brews Festival” at Causeway Cove Marina on the beautiful Indian River Lagoon. This will be a day to remember, as it will be filled with the tastes and sounds of New Orleans as the “Taste of New Orleans Blues & Brews Festival” enters its 3rd year of cooking up the hottest foods and the coolest jazz in all of the Treasure Coast! Pack up the kiddies, and bring Mom and Pop too; and enjoy yet another Above Average Entertainment event designed for all ages. Stroll about the grounds and enjoy New Orleans-style food and music. The food is awesomely delicious, the best Cajun and Creole cooking this side of Loo'zana: gumbos, crayfish, etouffes, red beans and rice, boudin, andouille sausage, Cajun fried fish, desserts, and alligator tails along with a smorgasbord of regional and local food favorites. A wide assortment of beverages is also available. And the music will "take you back to New Orleans," bringing back the blues straight from the Crescent City. One of the most fun times you will ever have is letting your hair down and promenading behind the brass band in a real New Orleans Second Line. The “Taste of New Orleans Blue & Brews Festival” is totally family friendly. While moms and dads are enjoying the music, sunning and savoring the foods, the kids can have a ball in the secured play area with novelties, balloons, face painting, a power slide and more. Blankets, strollers and folding chairs are welcome. Adult supervision must be provided for children under 18. Hours: March 2, 2019 10am-10pm.
