Georgetown is mostly known in the area as the “family town”. It’s where people landscape their yards, walk dogs, attend kids’ soccer games and commute every day to work in Austin. Don’t be fooled by its quiet demeanor, however. These mostly former Austinites haven’t lost their affinity for a good time. This classic Texas town has a big enough Oktoberfest that people flock to it every September and October. This city’s calendar is always stocked with a variety of festivals.
