The people have spoken, and Firefly Music Festival  has answered! In 2016, the festival announced a plan to let fans vote for the 2017 lineup and overall experience (including food, merch options and camping) they wished to see. Now, that very lineup has been unveiled. The Weeknd tops the bill next to Muse, Twenty One Pilots, Chance the Rapper and Bob Dylan & His Band. 

A novel twist on the concept of "power to the people," it's the first time fans have been given the chance to vote like this (surprising this hasn't been done before), and this eclectic lineup reflects their choices. Flume, Weezer, 30 Seconds to Mars, Kesha, Phantogram, OK Go, Busta Rhymes and T-Pain add even more star power. “This year’s lineup boasts the most fan-driven acts we’ve ever had mixed with a variety of up and coming artists and chart-topping performers,” says Christiane Pheil, Director of Creative Programming at Firefly Music Festival. “With our dedication to our guest feedback and the new attractions we’ll be rolling out in June, the 2017 festival is drawing the highest level of excitement from our team.”

In the days leading up to the unveil, a scavenger hunt led superfans on a wild goose chase through five cities (Baltimore, Philly, Washington D.C., Dover, DE, and Wilmington, DE) for five hidden pairs of VIP tickets.

Firefly is the east coast’s largest music and camping festival, and returns to The Woodlands for their sixth edition June 15 - 18, 2017. GA and VIP tickets go on sale today (Friday, January 27th) at 1:00 p.m. ET.
