Cole Kickin' Music Festival is an annual tribute to fallen area musicians and artists in Shreveport, LA where over 20 bands from the surrounding Ark-La-Tex play for 3 days at Bayou Thunder Saloon (1910 Market St., Shreveport, LA 71101) and there are numerous unique food and craft vendors at this event. This festival was founded in 2018 after 2 local musicians lost a longtime friend, their drummer, Barry Eakin Jr. at the age of 42 after he suffered a heart attack.
