The festival is located at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, which is also adjacent to the Kimbell Art Museum. Hop on a flight to either Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field. Fort Worth is west of downtown Dallas and is easily accessible via an extensive highway system. Rent a car or use a rideshare service (preferably the latter, because driving in Dallas-Fort Worth can be harrowing for those not familiar).
Dallas-Fort Worth is a massive metroplex with scores of hotels, Airbnbs, hostels, etc. Find something in the Fort Worth area near the Cultural District; you’ll find a range of lodging options for all budgets. You can also check the “Attend” tab at FortressFestival.com to find the latest deals and recommendations.
It’s not often that you’re surrounded by world-renowned museums at a music festival. A weekend general pass includes free admission to the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth during regular hours and extended hours throughout the weekend. As for the other museums, an admission ticket is roughly in the ballpark of $15 each, but check their websites before visiting. Do everything in your power to visit one or two, or all of them while you’re here!
Fortress donates a portion of the proceeds to the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. More art for everybody!
