Fan Power
In December 2016, several months ahead of its June 2017 fest, Firefly announced plans for a first-ever fan-voted lineup, allowing fan feedback to help curate major decisions and changes for the festival. Fans voted on Firefly’s website for festival components like the lineup, merchandise designs and products, attractions, cocktails and food, camping and festival amenities, and more.
The Nook
Relaxing in The Nook, an area nestled in the woods carefully illuminated with mood lighting and the glow of flat-screen televisions – so you’re completely unplugged from the action – is perfect if you need downtime, day or night. Bring one of your own or use one the festival provides.
The Thicket
Put on headphones and escape into your own space, a special wooded area with two different spinning electronic and dance music live, and tons of people grooving, seemingly in silence.
Dover, Delaware
It's not far by car from many points in the Northeast: that’s how most people get here, but you can also fly; it’s 38 miles from New Castle airport to the festival grounds.
For Firefly, it’s four-day admission, or join for one day
While Firefly is primarily a camping event full of tents, RVs and car camping, along with fancier digs that are set up for you when you arrive, AKA “glamping," Firefly also offers a single day pass, and a single day camping pass if you want to experience the camping side, but can't stay the whole weekend. Not into camping? There’s re-entry into Firefly, so you can stay in a nearby B&B or hotel without too much trouble, or make a vacation of it and visit Rehoboth Beach.
