About Boston, MA

If you’re into American history, American beer and some of the nation’s best sports, Boston is perfect for you. The cobblestone streets, icy pilsners and cracks from Fenway give Boston a truly unique atmosphere. It’s a city dense with bustling student life, long time locals and newbies who converge and stay for the same reason – Boston is a great city. Coming here for a festival is never a mistake. Top Boston Festivals

Boston Calling
The music mecca of New England, Boston Calling has everything you could possibly want in a music festival: a star-studded lineup that covers every genre under the sun. Taking place at Harvard Athletic Complex, the festival features world-class music, hilarious comedians and delicious New England-style grub.

Boston Wine Festival
This months-long celebration is a wine connoisseur's dream. Held at the Boston Harbor Hotel, the Boston Wine Festival is the nation's longest-running food and wine festival, and has uncorked over 75,000 bottles of wine since its inaugural year. Just wait ‘til you pair your new favorite wine with an exquisite multi-course meal prepared by local chefs.

Boston Seafood Festival
Overlooking the mighty Atlantic Ocean, you can bet that Boston has an incredible seafood scene. Look for the fresh catch of the day and many other appetizing dishes straight from a host of local restaurants, but there are always non-seafood options, too. In addition, you can look forward to an oyster-shucking contest and live cooking demonstrations.

Boston Harborfest
Why only celebrate America's independence for one day when you can for five days straight? Boston Harborfest is the ultimate Fourth of July celebration, commemorating the efforts of the American Revolution with battle reenactments, live entertainment and tours of the city's various historical sites.

Cambridge Carnival
There's a world of culture at the annual Cambridge Carnival. Celebrating the city's vast diversity, the carnival is jam-packed with wildly colorful costumes, lively parades, handmade arts and crafts and lots of international cuisine. It's a festival of discovery that you won't want to miss.

Together Boston
A week isn't enough time to soak in Boston's creative spirit in full, but it's a good start anyway. Get ready to drop your jaw at a variety of film screenings, art installations, music performances, discussion panels and much more. There's so much to see and do here at Together Boston, you'll want to return for a second helping.

The Boston Arts Festival
The Boston Arts Festival doesn't need a fancy name to convince you it's the real deal. Hit up Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park to marvel at stunning work such as photography, paintings, jewelry and sculptures from more than 70 local juried artists.
